Equity release

Your home is your safe place and a reward for your lifetime of hard work. As you get older and need some extra income, you may wish to release money from your home but don’t want to move out and downsize. It could be to fund your retirement, help with much-needed home improvements, pay off an existing mortgage or perhaps give money to loved ones.

We are independent equity release experts who specialise in lifetime mortgages. We will work with you to understand whether it’s the right route for you to go down before providing our recommendations. Our goal is for you to remain in your home and make happy memories, knowing that your finances are taken care of.

Who we help

We know that it can be a challenge to find the right solution for your home and needs. We’re here to help if you are:

House rich, cash poor

If you have a lot of equity in your home but few liquid assets, equity release can be a practical solution. We will discuss the different options available to you so you can make an informed decision.

Raising capital

Raise money to meet one-off costs, such as home improvements, without putting your home up for sale or downsizing. We will help you to quickly raise capital while continuing to live in your family home.

Gifting money

Help your children or grandchildren get on the property ladder by releasing funds from your home. You will see them enjoy their home, and it will save on Inheritance Tax later on.

Consolidating debts

Enter retirement free of any financial stress. Equity release will allow you to enjoy retirement peacefully, safe in the knowledge that any outstanding debts or unpaid mortgages have been dealt with.

How we help

Discuss your options

Before making any life-changing decisions, we will meet with you and take the time to listen to your reasons for releasing equity to guarantee that we pick the best solution for you and your family. We don’t rush the process; we take each step at a time and listen to your immediate needs as well as any long-term plans.

Equity release isn’t for everyone. That’s why it is so important to speak to an independent equity release adviser. We will talk you through the pros and cons without the use of industry jargon, so you are fully informed. We will be there to answer any questions you have, no matter how big or small.

Find you the best deal

Being independent means that we will search the whole of the market on your behalf, as we have access to a vast range of equity release products. This independence means we will choose what’s most appropriate for your requirements, home and financial position.

We are not tied to any particular lenders or restricted to a select panel, so we will have your best interests at the heart of the work we do. We provide a bespoke solution that works for your circumstances.

Fully qualified and experienced

Our mortgage and equity release adviser, Victoria Mammon, holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice and Certificate in Regulated Equity Release. She is in the best position to advise you on how to release tax-free cash from your home as she knows the sector in great detail.

With years of experience under her belt, Victoria will guide you to the best lenders and products for your particular needs, and you can put all your trust in her.

Keeping you in safe hands

Our role is to ensure that you know the pros and cons of your decision and how equity release works. This includes details regarding how the loan will only be repaid when you die, sell your house or move into care.

As a member of the Equity Release Council, the no negative equity guarantee is a clause that is included in all our equity release plans. This ensures that your family will never owe more than the sale value of your home when you die or enter long-term care.

Equity Release involves a Lifetime Mortgage or Home Reversion Plan. We do not provide advice on Home Reversion Plans.

A lifetime mortgage is secured against your home. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration. Equity Release will reduce the value of your estate and may affect your entitlement to means-tested benefits.
