Hello, my name is Penny Bradsell. I’ve known Adrian for over 30 years, and I’ve been with Dukes since he went independent and formed the company, so Adrian is my advisor.

I initially wanted a little bit of financial advice for some simple savings plans. I was working and wanted to put aside some money for the future. So, I went to Adrian, and we started setting things up. 

I met Adrian through a personal recommendation. He understood what I was trying to achieve, so I stayed with him without actually looking around elsewhere.

The most recent help I’ve received has been dealing with an inheritance that I came into a couple of years ago. He’s been able to advise on things like how to treat it, what I should be doing, what we need now and what I want later.

I find it very reassuring that I’ve got somebody like Adrian and Dukes who I can contact when something unusual happens. I’ve had a couple of such events in the last few years. So, rather than looking around for someone to ask “Oh, what do I do about this?”, I’ve got this long-standing relationship, which is tremendously helpful to me at this time.

Over the last few months, I’ve had many in-depth discussions with Adrian about my financial future, as a lot of things have changed recently. He has reassured me that I can do what I would really like to do. He’s shown me how it would all work, and I’m very happy that I can actually take the steps I want to next.

Without Adrian and Dukes, and the long-standing relationship of trust and understanding that means he knows what I want to achieve, I don’t think I would have anything like the confidence in my financial future I do at the moment. And this is in quite difficult times as well.

The three words that I would use to describe Adrian and Dukes, generally, are trust, attentiveness, and patience.

The best thing about working with Adrian and Dukes is the peace of mind knowing that I’ve got someone I can go to. He’s always been very accessible regarding any queries or concerns I may have and actual financial issues that I want to address. He is very approachable.

I would be happy to recommend Dukes, as they’ve always produced good results. They are very approachable and willing to explain everything very carefully so that I can understand it. So, anybody I’d recommend would be likely to understand it as well.
